What is Board and Train? 

Board and Train allows a professional dog trainer to take the lead and teach your dogs new behaviours in an intensive program. Having a trainer work with your dog helps them learn quickly and more efficiently. If you are time-poor but want a well-behaved dog – then Board and Train can be the solution you are looking for.

What happens during and after Board and Train?

  • Your Dog stays in the trainer’s home (not kennelled) allowing for multiple daily training sessions.
  • First 3 days of all programs allow for the Trainer to assess your dog’s personality and prioritise training goals.
  •  Your dog benefits from our Daily Routine including mental stimulation, training, play and rest.
  • You receive regular photos and progress updates during your dog’s stay so you can ensure your dog is happy and cared for.
  • On the last day of the program, we give you the skills to maintain the behaviours your dog has learned during a comprehensive handover session.
  • After the training program, you have 2 follow-up sessions to ensure you and your dog retain your new skills.
  • The option to join in our manners classes to practice your new skills with your trainer present.

Our board and train program includes:

  • Enrichment Toy to take home
  • Intensive Daily Training
  • 1 x handover session
  • 2 x Follow up sessions
  • Access to 3 months of Obedience and Manners classes

To book your Dog’s board and train program:

  1. Arrange an initial consultation to meet and greet Jen and for an assessment to ensure your dog is suited to Board and Train and we can discuss your training goals in detail. The initial session is $150, which will be deducted from the full amount of the program if you go ahead.
  2. Review and sign off on the policy agreement and complete your boarding intake form. Received in your inbox within 48 hours of the Initial Consultation.
  3. Pay a 50% deposit to confirm your Board and Train Booking
  4. Arrange for the pick up of your dog to start their new training adventure.
  5. We only accept one dog to board and train at a time – to ensure they get all the attention they need to be successful.
