It this only for professionals? We are.more than happy to help people train there dog as a therapy dog, even if you are not a professional. However we can not organise placements. If you have knowledge of a business or service that you can organise a placement for you and your dog, we will support you as best we can.

Welcome to our Canine Co-Therapy Program, where dogs assist therapeutic goals as a partner, not a tool. Enrollment is now open for our 12-week Online Therapy Dog Certification Program.
Dogs are no longer viewed as passive tools in therapy but rather as engaged collaborators. This method encourages a more cooperative and compassionate therapy environment by valuing the distinctive traits and contributions of the dogs in assisting people in achieving their therapeutic objectives.
Designed for therapists and counselors to train their own dogs and gain certification for therapy work in a clinical or school setting. To ensure a dedicated focus on your dog’s training needs, we will be limiting enrollment to 15 handlers. Classes and assessments are held virtually, so handlers from all over Australia are welcome.

Program Begins 29th November 2023 (Concludes 28th February with 2-week pause over Christmas)
Cost: $1500 (Afterpay is available, request a link once enrolled).
(Certification Assesment is included in the cost of the course but completing the course is not a guarantee that your dog will pass the assessment. Assessment is required every 2 years to stay current. Cost of reassessment is $195)
